Microsoft Acquires Jellyfish

October 4th, 2007 by tom

Well, I’m a day late in posting on this (all of the news broke yesterday)…but after several months of talks, Microsoft has officially acquired my employer, Jellyfish.com. It’s been a wild ride over my 13 months there, but I’ve really enjoyed being part of this incredible team!

This is a great end to the ’startup’ phase of Jellyfish (no, Jellyfish.com isn’t going to disappear with this acquisition), and I couldn’t be happier that the deal finally got done. Sure, I’ve been and open source developer and I’ve been raving about my iPhone here, but I’m actually looking forward to exploring what this technology giant has to offer.
